The SA33760 Buck-Boost controller can automatically operate in Buck, Boost, and Buck-Boost modes based on input and output voltages. It accepts a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 55V and can accommodate LED voltages from 2.5V to 55V.
The SA33760 operates in constant frequency current mode, with a switching frequency range of 200 kHz to 700 kHz. It provides analog dimming when the voltage on the SET pin is adjusted, and direct pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming when a dimming signal is applied to the PWM pin.
The SA33760 offers reliable protections against faults including overvoltage, LED open/short, overtemperature, input overcurrent, and additional single faults, and includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting.
