The SA52918 is a highly integrated, multi-channel gate driver designed for driving multiple motors. The device incorporates eight N-channel half-bridge gate drivers, integrated driver power supplies, and two current shunt amplifiers. The SA52918 offers several protections features, including under-voltage and over-voltage protection, VDS overcurrent and VGS gate fault protection for external MOSFETs. Additionally, it features off-state open load detection, short-circuit protection, and includes both an internal thermal warning system and thermal shutdown capability.
