SY205222DVD is a low-capacitance transient voltage suppressor (TVS) designed to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for high-speed data interfaces. With a typical capacitance of 0.5pF, SY205222DVD is designed to protect against over-voltage and over-current transient events. It complies with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) (±30kV air, ±30kV contact discharge), IEC 61000-4-5 (surge) (4.5A, 8/20μs).

The combined features of low capacitance, small size and high ESD robustness make SY205222DVD ideal for high-speed data ports and high-frequency lines (e.g., HDMI & DVI) applications. The low clamping voltage of the SY205222DVD guarantees minimum stress on the protected IC.

Each SY205222DVD device can protect four high-speed data lines. The SY205222DVD is available in a compact 2.5 mm ×1.0 mm DFN package.
