The SQ29051 high efficiency 750kHz synchronous Buck converter operates over a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 18V, and can deliver up to 1.5A output current. It integrates a top MOSFET and a bottom MOSFET with very low RDS(ON) to minimize conduction loss.
The SQ29051 adopts constant on-time and valley current control to achieve fast transient response for applications with high step-down ratios and high efficiency at light loads. It also provides cycle-by-cycle current limit and over temperature protection.
The SQ29051 is highly integrated, so only the input and output capacitors, the inductor, and the feedback resistors need to be selected for the targeted application specifications.
The SQ29051 is available in a compact DFN2x2-8 package.
