The SY52462A is a Flyback synchronous rectifier (SR) switcher with high performance capabilities. It is suitable for continuous conduction mode (CCM), discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and quasi-resonant (QR) mode Flyback converter.
The SY52462A adopts proprietary operation mode to achieve Flyback zero voltage switching (ZVS) turn-on, which can greatly improve Flyback efficiency and power density. The SY52462A also adopts the adaptive gate voltage control for safe operation.
SY52462A uses DRAIN sense voltage falling slope rate detection to avoid SR MOSFET false turn on caused by parasitic ringing in DCM or QR mode.
During light load conditions, the controller enters power saving mode to improve light load efficiency.
The SY52462A is available in a PDFN5*6-8 package.
