The SY89456 develops a high efficiency synchronous Buck converter capable of delivering 6A continuous. The device integrates top FET and bottom FET with very low RDS(ON) to minimize the conduction loss. In addition, it operates at pseudo-constant frequency of 500kHz under CCM condition to minimize the size of inductor and capacitor. The SY89456 also integrates a bypass switch which allows the VCC to be powered by external 3.3V power supply, further reduce the power consumption of the entire system.
