Senior Field Applications Engineer/Technical Lead (Automotive, Germany)
Main Responsibilities
Silergy is looking for an experienced Senior Field Applications Engineer with Automotive and power management product experience. This position requires strong technical as well as interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
· Provide Strategic Automotive customers with technical support for our broad range of power management devices.
· Work closely with customer engineers to gain a deep understanding of their current requirements to help drive our expanding sales opportunities.
· Drive customer engagement from initial interest through to design win.
· Collaborate with technical marketing and engineering groups internally to define new products to meet customer requirements.
· Prepare data and documentation for customer product presentations, conduct training sessions, and demonstrate new products.
Requirements
· At least Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
· 5+ years related experience in the power and analog IC field
· Experience in working with some of the large Automotive Tier1s in Germany.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Strong design and application background in power electronics
· Good problem-solving skills
· Hands-on lab skills and familiarity with power circuit design and layout
· Experience in working with R&D teams across geographical locations in different time zones and diverse cultures
· Available to travel up to 30%
